OGL/2024/1336/1047This page is the long form: every entry, every field, nothing folded away. The short form — the same eight crypto casinos in South Africa with the market, the route the rand takes and what each field is worth around them — is the overview on the front page. Every entry here opens the same door, and how this site is paid says what that does and does not buy.
The catalogue
Eight crypto casino sites, ordered editorially. Beside each one: the licensing body, the register number that locates it, the number of settlement assets where the cashier states it, and the kinds of games the site runs.

Three number formats, three registers
This catalogue carries three shapes of licence number, and they are not interchangeable. The Curaçao Gaming Authority issues numbers in an OGL format and keeps a register that is searched by that number. The Anjouan Gaming Board issues its own ALSI numbers in its own register. And one entry here carries an older Curaçao licence in the pre-restructuring format, which is checked differently and is worth naming as a different kind of record rather than folding into the others.
| Operator | Body | Register number | Status as read |
|---|---|---|---|
| CryptoGames | Curaçao | OGL/2024/1336/1047 | Active |
| Wolf.bet | Anjouan | ALSI-132405048-FI3 | valid |
| Rocketpot | Curaçao | 1668/JAZ | older Curaçao format |
| Wild Fortune | Anjouan | ALSI-202509073-FI2 | valid |
| Rainbet | Anjouan | ALSI-152406029-FI2 | valid |
| Shuffle | Curaçao | OGL/2024/1337/0628 | Active |
| CoinPoker | Anjouan | ALSI-202412004-FI1 | valid |
| Bitcasino.io | Curaçao | OGL/2023/111/0069 | Active |
Read in each body's register rather than in the operator's footer. A licence is a statement about a document, not a guarantee about conduct.
The reason to print the number rather than the word "licensed" is narrow and practical: a word cannot be checked and a number can. Anyone can verify one of these entries in about two minutes, and verifying one is the fastest way to decide how much to trust the other seven.
The cashier is the real difference between them
Game catalogues at these sites overlap heavily — the same studios supply most of them — so catalogue size is a weak way to tell them apart. The cashier is not. A South African player arrives holding whatever Luno or VALR sold them, and whether the casino settles in that asset decides whether anything is converted again on arrival.
| Operator | Assets stated | Cashier character |
|---|---|---|
| CryptoGames | 15 | Fifteen settlement assets and its own games |
| Wolf.bet | 13 | Crypto-only, with a book on the same balance |
| Rocketpot | 13 | Crypto-only with a stated withdrawal threshold |
| Wild Fortune | 10 | Ten assets, and documents before play in one case |
| Rainbet | 9 | Originals, a sportsbook and live tables |
| Shuffle | 6 | Six assets, including its own token |
| CoinPoker | 5 | Poker first, with a casino attached |
| Bitcasino.io | not read | One of the longest-running crypto-first sites |
"Not read" means exactly that: this site did not confirm the list and will not print a number it did not see.
At a working rate of about R 18 to the dollar, the minimums these sites state in coin land in ordinary rand territory — a $10 minimum is roughly R 180 — but the figure moves with the coin's price, so a minimum quoted in coin is not a fixed rand amount.

Here, because it can be checked
- Licensing body and register number.
- The company named as holder in the register.
- Settlement assets, where the cashier states them.
- What the terms say about verification, quoted.
Absent, because nobody measured it
- Payout speeds — no withdrawal was timed here.
- RTP figures without a citable source.
- Scores, stars and rankings of any kind.
- Bonus headlines separated from their terms.
The reasoning behind each of those lines is on how each one is checked.
Questions people actually ask
How were these eight chosen?
By one test: the licence could be found in the issuing body's own register with a number attached. Sites whose licensing could only be confirmed from their own footer are not here.
Why is no best crypto casino named on this page?
Because every entry opens the same door, so a ranking would be decoration. What replaces it is a set of facts that each take about two minutes to check yourself.
What does the number of assets tell me?
How many currencies the site settles in. A cashier that already holds the coin you bought credits it directly; one that does not converts it at its own rate.
Do these casinos accept South African players?
Each operator's own terms govern that, and they are the document to read. This site does not restate acceptance rules, because they change without notice and a stale copy is worse than no copy.
